Sarah Gooda has been involved in the arts since the age of 4, and has been working in music and theatre since 2000. Sarah gained a music degree in 2004 and has undertaken tertiary studies in theatre and performance, as well as training in dance teaching and art and music therapy.
Sarah has worked extensively as a stage manager, lighting, sound and production designer and in various roles on film shoots including touring and festivals. You can see her Stage management and tech CV here:
Sarah also performs as a musician under the stage name Sara-Rose Millar, both as a solo artist and with various bands. She also plays with several community bands, and is comfortable playing styles including medieval music, classical, contemporary, jazz, brass band, musical pit bands,, folk and rock. Sarah is also able to teach singing and instrumental music.
Sarah has been running Spangled Aura Productions since 2004 and has written, produced and directed a number of plays, short films and a full stage musical. She has acted in all Spangled Aura shows to date and has also acted in various short films and plays for other people, as well as working for 6 years as a simulated patient and role player for several medical and allied health schools and companies with clients such as Centrelink and the ADF.
